Astra Showcases Sustainable Solutions at ISF 2025
Jakarta. Astra Group reinforced its commitment to sustainable development through active participation in the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2025, held on Oct. 10–11. The forum, initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Investment and Downstream Industry Ministry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), serves as a cross-sector platform to advance partnerships in building a sustainable and globally competitive economy.
The opening ceremony was attended by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Investment Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, KADIN Chairman Anindya Bakrie, and senior Astra Group executives.
“Astra believes sustainability can only be achieved through strong collaboration between the government, businesses, and society. Through ISF 2025, we aim to actively contribute to strengthening Indonesia’s sustainability ecosystem through innovation, collaboration, and the development of world-class human resources,” said Boy Kelana Soebroto, Astra’s Chief of Corporate Affairs.
The 2025 forum focuses on six key strategic areas: food security and sustainable agriculture, clean water access and resilience, nature-based solutions for land and sea resources, renewable energy and low-carbon systems, green mobility, and sustainable mineral downstreaming, including bioenergy, innovation, and human resource development.
Astra also shared its best practices in developing sustainable business models that promote emission reduction, energy efficiency, and climate resilience across industries.
Representing Astra at the event, Djap Tet Fa, President Director of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration to strengthen national food security and promote sustainable agribusiness practices. He emphasized that cooperation across the value chain, from farmers and industry players to government stakeholders, is key to achieving inclusive sustainability and resilience.
Astra’s presence at ISF 2025 also featured an interactive exhibition booth showcasing the group’s sustainability initiatives and innovations. Designed as an educational and collaborative space, the booth highlighted Astra’s journey in advancing energy transition, circular economy practices, and contributions toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Visitors were introduced to Astra’s Toyota New bZ4X electric vehicle with high local content, a prototype of an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) by Astra Otoparts under the Astra Otopower brand, and solar panel systems developed by PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN) representing the group’s renewable energy initiatives within industrial environments.
Astra’s participation in ISF 2025 underscores its vision of “Prosperity Together with the Nation” and its continued commitment to driving green growth and sustainable economic transformation in Indonesia.
