Jakarta Mostly Cloudy, Bali Sees Rain and Sunshine Mix
Jakarta. Most of the Greater Jakarta areawill experience cloudy skies on Tuesday, with pockets of sunshine in southern Jakarta, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said.
Light rain is expected in the late afternoon and evening in parts of West Jakarta, including Cengkareng, Kalideres, and Kembangan. Similar conditions are forecast for Tangerang Regency and City, though the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy until midday.
In Bogor City, light rain is predicted from late morning through the afternoon, with the same forecast for some areas in Depok City. Northern coastal areas of Bekasi Regency may see light rain in the morning, while Bekasi City is expected to experience rainfall later in the afternoon.
Satellite imagery from Himawari shows that most rainfall will be light, affecting primarily northern coastal areas from Jakarta to Bekasi as of 7:20 a.m. local time.
Meanwhile, Bali is expected to experience a mix of partly cloudy skies and light rain on Tuesday. Temperatures across the island will range from 21 to 32°C, with humidity levels between 65 and 95 percent.
Light rain is forecast in several regencies, including Badung, Bangli, Buleleng, Gianyar, Jembrana, and Karangasem, while Denpasar and Klungkung are expected to see mostly cloudy skies. Tabanan is predicted to enjoy sunny conditions throughout the day. Humidity levels in rainy areas may reach up to 99 percent, reflecting the moist conditions typical for this season.
Residents and visitors are advised to prepare for scattered showers, particularly in the afternoon, while enjoying clearer skies in Tabanan and other drier regions. The weather pattern aligns with the island’s seasonal trends, where morning sunshine is often followed by brief afternoon rain or cloud cover.
