BNI Congratulates Fajar/Rian on 2023 All England Victory
Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI on Monday congratulated badminton champions men's doubles stars Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto on their 2023 All England victory.
“We are truly proud of their achievements and we would like to congratulate Fajar and Rian for winning the 2023 All England, the world’s most prestigious badminton championship. This victory is the fruit of the hard work, dedication, and tenacity of the Indonesian badminton athletes,” BNI corporate secretary Okki Rushartomo said in a press statement.
Fajar/Rian defeated fellow Indonesian pairing Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, also known as “The Daddies”, with a score of 21-17 and 21-14.
“Congratulations to Hendra and Ahsan for working incredibly hard at the 2023 All England championship. Even though they did not become the champion, The Daddies will continue to inspire young Indonesian athletes,” Okki said.
Okki reaffirmed BNI’s support for the well-beloved sport together with the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI).
“Let us all continue to support Indonesia’s badminton athletes. We pledge our continuous support for badminton development in Indonesia, so these athletes can make Indonesia proud on the global stage,” Okki said.
“Hopefully, this achievement can also motivate Indonesian badminton athletes to continue to grow and make even greater achievements in the future,” he said.
