Astra Brings Indonesian Creative Products to Global Stage at MASA Singapore

Singapore. More than 100 Indonesian brands and creators from the fashion, design, architecture, art, music, culinary, and hospitality sectors are showcasing their works and flagship products to the public in Singapore through MASA Singapore 2026: A Sight Into Indonesia's Golden Era. Astra International is supporting the event as part of its long-term commitment to advancing Indonesia's creative economy.

The opening of MASA Singapore 2026 was attended by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, MASA Executive Director Heliandi Fajar Saputra, MASA Impact Advisor Tiara Josodirjo, Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto, partners, creative industry players, and invited guests from Indonesia and Singapore.

"We appreciate Astra's support for MASA Singapore 2026 as an effort to introduce Indonesia's creativity to the world. The advancement of Indonesia's creative industry requires close collaboration among the government, businesses, communities, and various stakeholders to create a sustainable impact for society," Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar said.

Boy Kelana Soebroto, Astra's Chief of Corporate Affairs, said the event reflects the company's commitment to creating lasting value for the nation.

"This moment is not merely the opening of an exhibition but also reflects Astra's spirit of being an asset that benefits the nation, as embodied in our Catur Dharma philosophy. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, Astra continues to create added value for society. We hope MASA will serve as a platform that strengthens Indonesia's creative industry, opens more opportunities for creative entrepreneurs to grow, and introduces Indonesia's potential to the international community," Boy said.

At MASA Singapore 2026, Astra is showcasing flagship products from its Astra Prosperous Village program in East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, as well as products from small and medium enterprises supported by Astra Foundation–Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation.

The exhibition features traditional Sumba handwoven textiles crafted by women weavers fostered through the Astra Prosperous Village program in East Sumba, alongside collaborative works developed with D'apoza and Sepiring Indonesia that highlight Indonesia's creativity and cultural heritage.

Astra is also displaying documentation of its community empowerment programs implemented across various regions in Indonesia. The showcased products and initiatives reflect the company's commitment to empowering communities, strengthening the creative industry ecosystem, and expanding international market access for Indonesian products and creative works.

The products and exhibitions are part of MASA Singapore 2026, which is taking place at Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Singapore from July 2 to 5, 2026. The program will continue with the Indonesia–Singapore Orchid Extravaganza at Gardens by the Bay from July 4 to Aug. 10, 2026.

To date, Astra has supported more than 1,500 Astra Prosperous Villages across Indonesia. The program encourages communities to develop their local strengths through initiatives in health, education, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

A total of 492 Astra Prosperous Villages have exported their products, generating cumulative export value of Rp 411.7 billion. Exported products include agricultural and plantation commodities, processed foods, handicrafts, fashion products, and various other goods based on Indonesia's local culture and regional potential.

Astra's commitment to fostering creativity, empowering communities, and expanding market access for Indonesian products aligns with its aspiration of Prospering with the Nation while supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
