Magelang. A total of 4,138 personnel from the Indonesian military (TNI) and police have been deployed to secure President Prabowo Subianto’s first official event with his Red and White Cabinet at the Military Academy (Akmil) complex in Magelang, Central Java.

“We have mobilized over 4,000 personnel, including reserves, to support this significant event,” said Zainul Bahar, the military commander in charge of securing President Prabowo's first cabinet meeting, following a security briefing in Magelang on Wednesday. “We hope for smooth operations, as this is the inaugural activity for the new President.”

The personnel, drawn from Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, will be on standby 24 hours a day during the presidential activities with the cabinet ministers.

In addition to personnel, the security forces will deploy K9 tracking dogs and tactical vehicles from both the TNI and police. This extensive security is intended to prevent any unwanted incidents during the government event.

While the exact mode of transport for President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka remains unconfirmed, arrangements have been made for both land and air travel from Adisucipto Airport in Yogyakarta.

President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran will lead a three-day brainstorming session with all 109 cabinet members, commencing this Friday.

“President Prabowo will outline his key programs and priorities, particularly initiatives for the first 100 days of his administration,” said Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, acting chairman of Prabowo's Gerindra Party.

Organizers are preparing 120 tents on the slopes of Mount Tidar, a military training area, to accommodate the participants. The cabinet comprises 48 ministers, 59 vice ministers, and five heads of state agencies.
