More Support Coming for Prabowo's Presidential Bid
Jakarta. Prabowo Subianto recently earned more support for his presidential bid.
Hundreds of thousands of people joining the Bakti untuk Rakyat (‘Serving the People”) community declared their support for Prabowo in Jakarta earlier this week. There are around 500,000 members, all coming from different backgrounds.
“Thank you, everyone, but our fight is not over yet. We have to win on Feb. 14 [election day],” Prabowo told the Bakti untuk Rakyat community.
Prabowo said he sought to help people live better lives should he win the election.
“I can't stand still seeing people suffering, and corruptors continue to steal people’s money,” Prabowo said.
“I need your support and the mandate from the Indonesian people. So on Feb. 14, please give the mandate to Prabowo-Gibran,” he added.
The pro-Prabowo Bakti untuk Rakyat was first established in 2023. Their activities were initially online. The declaration of support marked their offline activities to support Prabowo-Gibran.
