Jakarta. Sholeh, the owner of a meatball soup shop in the Magelang district of Bandongan, said he did not expect to see President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

Jokowi and Prabowo recently made headlines for having lunch at Sholeh’s meatball soup shop. They were in Magelang for the inauguration ceremony of a new military academy facility.

“Praise be to God, my shop received two guests that I would never expect, namely Mr. President Jokowi and Mr. Prabowo,” Sholeh said.

Sholeh said both Jokowi and Prabowo really enjoyed their meals. He also admitted that at first, he doubted if he could serve hundreds of portions. Aside from Jokowi and Prabowo, Sholeh also had to make 400 portions to be given for free to the people.

“We also got to shake hands with Mr. Prabowo. There are even photos,” Sholeh said.

“I found him [Mr. Prabowo] very friendly. I can’t put it into words, but it’s nice to see him have lunch here. .. [Mr. Prabowo] even wished me good luck,” Sholeh said.

Sholeh added: “I wish Mr. Jokowi and Mr. Prabowo good health. Hopefully, they can lead this country so everyone can remain united in unity in diversity.”
