Jokowi, Prabowo Have Lunch at Local Meatball Soup Shop in Magelang
Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto recently had lunch together at a local meatball soup shop in Magelang.
The lunch took place shortly after the inauguration ceremony of a new military academy facility. Jokowi said they did not talk about anything else besides food.
“We have just inaugurated the main building in Magelang’s military academy, and then we enjoyed some meatball soup. That’s all,” Jokowi said.
He added: “We only talked about meatball soup, the coconut water we had, and also fried tofu. That’s all.”
Prabowo praised how Jokowi knew the best place to eat after a work visit.
“Mr. Jokowi really knows the best culinary spots,” Prabowo said.
There were some celebrities at the location. For instance, Deddy Corbuzier, Raffi Ahmad, Nagita Slavina, Atta Halilintar, Ria Ricis, Lula Lahfah, Rachel Vennya, Salim Nauderer, Tarra Budiman, Christian Bong, Celine Evangelista, Aan Story, among others.
