Enthusiasm Soars during Jokowi, Prabowo’s Lunch in Magelang
Jakarta. Enthusiasm soared high when President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto had a meatball soup lunch at a local street vendor earlier this week.
Bandongan residents immediately crowded the place to take a picture of the lunch. Some of them even cheered Prabowo’s name.
“I love you, Mr.Prabowo,” a woman said.
A man also cheered: “Mr. Defense Minister! Mr. Defense Minister! Please shake my hands!”

Bandongan local Risma said she was happy to finally meet Jokowi and Prabowo in person.
“I’m really happy. I got to shake hands with [Mr. Prabowo]. I think he is just like Mr. Jokowi. He is very friendly to the people,” Risma said.
Risma said Prabowo could carry on what Jokowi had done should he become the president.
“It’s only Mr. Prabowo who can continue Mr. Jokowi’s programs. I will support him. Hopefully, he remains humble,” Risma added.
