Jakarta. State health insurer BPJS Kesehatan has partnered with the Indonesian Armed Forces TNI to make sure that the military personnel and family members receive quality healthcare services, even in remote areas.

As of March 1, the national health insurance scheme Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) registered 248.69 million participants. About 1.48 million participants were TNI and their family members.

"TNI also plays a crucial role in our healthcare system. BPJS Kesehatan has partnered with 23,517 primary healthcare facilities [FKTP] and 3,182 advanced referral healthcare facilities [FKRTL] across the archipelago. Of these, there are 577 TNI primary healthcare clinics that serve as FKTPs, and 120 TNI hospitals and primary healthcare clinics are part of the FKRTL partners of BPJS Kesehatan," BPJS Kesehatan President Director Prihati Pujowask said.

"In terms of healthcare financing, BPJS Kesehatan has disbursed Rp 190.3 trillion. This situation demonstrates the importance of strengthening primary healthcare services to optimize healthcare services while maintaining the sustainability of the JKN Program's financing," added Pujo.

BPJS Kesehatan also deploys healthcare workers, collaborates with specific healthcare facilities, and uses floating hospitals to reach remote and border areas.

"BPJS Kesehatan continues to introduce various service innovations to improve ease of access for JKN participants. Through the JKN Mobile Application, participants can access various services digitally, from online queue registration at healthcare facilities, changing participant data, to providing information and filing service complaints," said Pujo.

The agency has also set up the PANDAWA services at 08118165165 to facilitate participants in managing various membership administration matters without having to visit a BPJS Kesehatan branch office in person. A 24-hour Care Center is available at 165. These service innovations are part of BPJS Kesehatan's commitment to providing easier and faster services for all JKN participants.

"By partnering with TNI, BPJS Kesehatan is optimistic that efforts to ensure equitable JKN services can continue to be strengthened. Hopefully, the JKN program can have a real impact on improving the health of the Indonesian people," Pujo said.
