Prabowo Tweets Condolences Over Former First Lady's Death
Jakarta. Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto conveyed his condolences on the passing of former first lady Ani Yudhoyono from his official Twitter account on Saturday.
"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un [We belong to Allah and to Allah we shall return]. I conveyed my deepest condolence over the passing of Kristiani Herrawati, whom we all know as Ani Yudhoyono," Prabowo said in his tweet.

The former Army general also wished former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his family courage and patient in adversity.

"The first lady has given great contributions and offered her dedication to the country as a loyal partner for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono," Prabowo said.
Yudhoyono, the sixth president of Indonesia, is the founder of the Democratic Party, one of the parties supporting Prabowo's run for the presidency.
Prabowo reportedly left Indonesia for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. There has been no news about his plan to return.
