KPK Elevates Corruption Case on DPR Residence Procurement to Investigation Phase
Jakarta. The corruption investigation involving the procurement of facilities for the House of Representatives (DPR) official residence has progressed into a new stage, as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) decided to advance the case to the formal investigation stage.
"The leadership and structural officials in the Enforcement Deputy, including investigators, detectives, and prosecutors, have agreed to escalate the case to the investigation stage regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of facilities for the DPR official residence," said KPK Spokesperson Ali Fikri at the KPK building in Jakarta on Friday.
At the investigation stage, KPK has identified suspects in each case, although Ali Fikri has chosen not to disclose their identities. Additionally, Ali refrained from providing further specifics about the case, assuring the public that any developments would be consistently communicated.
"We will inform you of the developments as they occur," Ali Fikri stated.
