Magelang. Members of President Prabowo Subianto’s Red and White Cabinet concluded a three-day retreat at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, on Sunday, returning to Jakarta to begin their official duties.

During this military-style cabinet retreat which began on Friday, the first of its kind in history, over 100 ministers, vice ministers, and heads of state agencies donned camouflage uniforms, practicing military drills and saluting the president in each session.

Prabowo described the gathering as essential to fostering unity among cabinet members and allowing them to build stronger personal and professional relationships.

In one session, he emphasized the goal of achieving 8 percent economic growth within his first three years in office, a target he stressed would require the commitment of the entire cabinet. The former army general also reiterated his policy to ban raw mineral exports, urging a focus on domestic industrialization of ores and other raw materials.

He compared his cabinet to a football team that must adopt an aggressive, teamwork-centered approach to achieve the best results.

Antara reported that Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka was the first to leave the complex, followed by other cabinet members who boarded buses for the airport.

Prabowo was the last to depart, riding in a tactical vehicle and greeting cadets and hundreds of local residents from the sunroof as his motorcade made its way to the airport around 11 a.m.
