Bandung, W. Java. Music festival Semesta Berpesta Bandung 2026 is set to return to Tegalega Field on Saturday, marking its third edition in the West Java capital with a lineup of top Indonesian performers and a full day of entertainment.

Organized by B-Universe, this year's festival will feature performances by Vierratale, Barasuara, HARRA, and Aldi Taher, alongside a number of local acts expected to energize the event's grand finale.

Beyond live music, the festival will showcase dozens of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), reinforcing B-Universe's commitment to supporting Bandung's creative economy.

"We invited local entrepreneurs through social media and encouraged them to join. We deliberately chose local SMEs because we want to empower them while giving them the opportunity to participate in Semesta Berpesta," B-Universe Marketing General Manager Donny P. Wardana said on Friday.

According to Donny, Bandung was selected once again because of its strong reputation as one of Indonesia's leading creative hubs.

"Bandung is one of the most promising cities for us as a media company to strengthen BTV's presence. At the same time, it has tremendous potential in the creative industry," he said.

Festival preparations are nearly complete, with organizers saying the venue is almost 100% ready ahead of Saturday's opening.

"The preparations are almost finished. We've set up dozens of SME booths that will be ready for tomorrow," Donny said during a site visit on Friday.

The festival will run from morning until night in two sessions. Daytime activities will include a Zumba workout, a children's coloring competition, and community-led programs in collaboration with sponsors before the music performances take center stage in the evening.

Technical rehearsals, including sound checks for performers such as the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Choir and HARRA, were also underway on Friday.

Donny expressed hope that the event would deliver an enjoyable experience for performers, visitors, and the people of Bandung while providing a platform for local creative talent to gain wider exposure.

"We hope everything runs smoothly, the performers enjoy themselves, the audience has a great time, and the people of Bandung come and celebrate with us at Semesta Berpesta," he said.
