Jakarta. Large-scale music festival BTV Semesta Berpesta is set to return this year with events in eight cities across Indonesia, beginning in Bali on April 25.

The festival, now entering its fifth year, has attracted more than 200,000 attendees in cities nationwide over the past four years.

In 2026, BTV Semesta Berpesta will be held in Sanur, Yogyakarta, Malang, Bandung, Bogor, Bekasi, Makassar, and Jakarta.

This year’s opening event will take place at Mertasari Beach in Sanur, one of Bali’s premier tourism destinations.

Apreyvita Wulansari, Managing Director of B-Universe Media Holdings, said BTV Semesta Berpesta is more than a music festival, describing it as a collaborative platform for Indonesia’s creative industries.

“More than just a music festival, Semesta Berpesta is a space for Indonesia’s pop culture community. Music, fashion, culinary businesses, and SMEs come together in one dynamic collaborative environment,” Apreyvita said in a statement on Sunday.

She added that the event was designed as a creative ecosystem connecting creators, brands, and communities through direct interaction.

“Semesta Berpesta is not just an event, but an ecosystem. We want all stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and celebrate Indonesian pop culture together,” she said.

The opening event in Bali will feature a variety of attractions combining music, culinary experiences, games, fashion shows, and cultural performances.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a wide range of Indonesian cuisine, from traditional Balinese dishes to trendy snacks popular among younger audiences.

Ahead of the main concert, organizers will host wellness activities including a fun run and a mass Zumba dance session involving local communities.

Several well-known performers, including Kotak, Meiska Adinda, and Milledenial, are scheduled to appear on the main stage for the Bali opening.
