Prabowo Vows to Build A School in Langowan
Langowan. Presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto recently vowed to build a “favorite school” --which commonly refers to schools that nurture high-performing students-- in Langowan, which lies in the North Sulawesi regency of Minahasa.
Prabowo made the promise when he met his supporters in Schwarz grounds in Langowan earlier this week. Langowan holds a special place in Prabowo’s heart. This is where his family --particularly from his mother’s side Dora Marie Sigar-- came from.
“I would like to build a ‘favorite school’ here regardless if I become the president or not,” Prabowo said.
The presidential candidate took the time to thank the North Sulawesi locals for their support. He also promised to return to Minahasa.
