Jakarta. State-owned pawnbroker Pegadaian has opened the Tring! Digital Lounge at Mall Kota Kasablanka, creating a public-facing interaction space that allows visitors to experience digital financial services firsthand.

The Tring! Digital Lounge will operate from January 14 to February 8, 2026, as part of Pegadaian’s broader commitment to strengthening the transformation of its gold banking services and accelerating digital adoption through the Tring! by Pegadaian application.

Pegadaian President Director Damar Latri Setiawan said the lounge forms part of a series of initiatives following the launch of the Tring! application in October 2025, aimed at introducing the platform and providing real-world user experience to the public.

“The Tring! Digital Lounge is designed as a direct interaction space with the community,” Damar said. “Through this lounge, Pegadaian is not only introducing its services, but also demonstrating how the gold banking ecosystem and our digital services can be accessed easily and securely.”

Damar expressed appreciation to customers who have entrusted their investments and financial transactions to Pegadaian. As of the end of December 2023, Pegadaian’s total gold assets under management reached 33.7 tons, supported by a sharp rise in digitally active customers, which grew 244% year on year.

Since its official launch, the Tring! application has been downloaded by more than three million users. Beyond driving user growth, the milestone has contributed to reshaping public perception of Pegadaian as a more progressive, innovative, and accessible financial institution.

Director of Network Operations and Sales Eka Pebriansyah said the Digital Lounge is designed as a miniature replica of Pegadaian’s operational outlets, delivering an end-to-end service experience in a public setting.

“Pegadaian currently operates more than 4,000 outlets across Indonesia. The Tring! Digital Lounge brings a condensed version of our services into a single space, allowing customers to experience them directly,” Eka said.

Visitors to the lounge can access educational content and try various services, including gold cleaning, testing and appraisal, pawn and physical gold deposit services, gold ATMs, and digital onboarding through the Tring! application. The space also features a Digital Corner and PEVITA Metahuman as an interactive communication tool.

Marketing, Sales, and Product Development Director Selfie Dewiyanti said the presence of the Tring! Digital Lounge in a strategic public location is expected to strengthen Pegadaian’s brand while building closer relationships and trust with the public.
