Pegadaian Announces 2nd Batch of ‘Badai Emas’ Winners
Jakarta. Pawnshop Pegadaian recently announced the second batch winners of the Badai Emas lottery.
To celebrate its 123rd anniversary, Pegadaian is showering its loyal customers with gold gifts in a raffle called Badai Emas (‘Gold Storm’).
“Badai Emas is not only our way to appreciate the customers’ trust and support for Pegadaian, but also as a token of gratitude for their loyalty and dedication,” Pegadaian’s senior vice president for marketing Yudi Sadono was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
The Social Affairs Ministry, the Jakarta social affairs agency, and a notary oversaw the raffle and the winners’ announcement for better transparency. As many as 627,944 customers (based on their customer identification files) took part in the second batch of Badai Emas with a total of 62,805,928 coupons and tickets.
The raffle uses an app that offers legal certainty and ensures fairness for all participants. The second batch winners could bring home:
- 100 Gold Savings worth 1.23 grams;
- 20 gold shopping vouchers at Gallery 24 each worth 12.3 million;
- 3 grand prizes of 24-carat gold weighing 123 grams each.
The following are the prizes for the second-batch winners of the Pegadaian Syariah Badai Emas:
- 100 Gold Savings worth 1 gram.
- 20 24-carat gold from Gallery worth 242 grams.
- 3 grand prizes of Umrah packages worth Rp 35 million.

Third Round of Badai Emas
Pegadaian has also opened the third round of Badai Emas. Customers can increase transactions, collect points, and exchange lottery coupons from October 1 to December 31, 2024. Pegadaian will hold the lottery in January 2025.
Customers can collect points through pawn/financing transactions and non-cash EDC payments or through the Pegadaian Digital application. Customers will get 10 points for a minimum transaction of Rp 100,000, multiples apply for loan applications and multiples do not apply for payment transactions. The points obtained can be exchanged for lottery coupons. Each 10 points is worth 1 lottery coupon.
For Pegadaian Syariah’s Badai Emas, customers can get 1 prize ticket by making pawn/financing transactions for Sharia products and topping up Syariah Gold Savings for a minimum of Rp 100,000.
Pegadaian confirms that the company bears all costs and taxes on prizes. Customers are advised to be aware of fraud and only follow official information through the Sahabat Pegadaian website and Instagram @sahabatpegadaian.
