Chandra Asri’s Back-Office Services Create Jobs for 200 People
Jakarta. Chandra Asri Group announced on Wednesday that it had launched the operations of Chandra Asri Sentral Solusi or CASS, thereby creating jobs for hundreds of people.
Chandra Asri Group is a leading energy, chemical, and infrastructure solutions provider in Southeast Asia. CASS is the group’s shared service center that provides comprehensive back-office services. Its scope covers finance, human resources, procurement, and customer operations. Chandra Asri expects this establishment to enable greater efficiency, standardization, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the groups across its growing operations, be it in Indonesia, Singapore, and beyond.
CASS will back the operations of Aster Chemicals & Energy Pte, Ltd (Aster). This is a joint t venture between Chandra Asri Group and Glencore, one of the world’s largest natural resource companies, combining the legacy of Singapore’s first oil refinery with advanced petrochemical operations.
“The commencement of CASS’s operations marks an important milestone in strengthening the group’s operational foundation through an integrated and sustainable Shared Service Center. CASS enhances operational efficiency and governance across the Group, while also supporting our long-term growth and transformation agenda.” CASS President Director Lenny Woen said.
CASS Chief Financial Officer Phillippe Pangestu went on to say that the company not only supports entities within the group but also external partners with scalability and AI-enabled ecosystems in mind.
“We are excited as we scale up to 200 employees and more, with this new business that forms the core of our Group’s expanded strengths.”
Looking ahead, CASS is set to extend its services to additional entities across the Chandra Asri Group, supported by enhanced capabilities and operational readiness, in line with its commitment to integrated and efficient regional operations.
Through the operation of CASS, Chandra Asri Group strengthens its long-term competitiveness while supporting talent development and the creation of skilled employment opportunities in Indonesia across key business support functions.
