Jakarta. The campaign team of the projected presidential election winner, Prabowo Subianto, provided a sneak peek into his potential cabinet composition, signaling an inclination toward the "accommodating approach" embraced by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.

The future Prabowo cabinet aims to include representatives from political parties, professionals, and volunteers, according to Anggawira, a key member of the campaign.

"This composition will mirror that of the Jokowi cabinet in the last two [presidential] terms. Mr. Jokowi consistently includes representatives from these three groups," Anggawira said in an interview with the BTV news channel.

The allocation for each group in the cabinet and the selection of candidates are within the exclusive prerogative of Prabowo, he added.

"Moreover, the candidates’ competence and capability will be the foremost considerations, whether they originate from political parties, professional groups, or volunteer groups,” Anggawira said.

“As members of civil society, we all must participate in assessing potential candidates who will soon come into the public eye. Screening names based on their competence is a vital aspect of selecting capable individuals within the president’s circle,” he concluded.
