Bandung. Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, addressed a viral video on social media featuring his rival, Anies Baswedan, listening to a complaint from a man claiming to be a fisherman in Parepare, South Sulawesi.

The identity of the man who claimed to be a fisherman was recently revealed. The imposter fisherman is named Sappe, a legislative candidate from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), which supported Anies in the 2024 presidential election.

"Daring, isn't it? Pretending to be a fisherman, pretending to be a farmer, and saying we don't need free meals," Prabowo said during a grand campaign event at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) in Bandung on Thursday.

Providing free meals for children and pregnant mothers is Prabowo's flagship program.

Prabowo humorously suggested that the PKS legislative candidate, along with Anies, deserves an "Oscar" for his touching acting, playfully recommending a career in acting.

"I suggest giving him (Sappe) an Oscar. That's quite something. He shouldn't be a legislative candidate; he should be a soap opera star," Prabowo expressed to the crowd.

During the event, Prabowo also appreciated the presence of hundreds of thousands of loyal supporters who patiently waited, even enduring heavy rain. He apologized for the delay caused by traffic.

Prabowo revisited the free lunch program, a part of his and vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka's, President Joko Widodo's oldest son, initiative.

"Ladies and gentlemen, free and nutritious lunch will make our children strong, their brains smart, bones and muscles strong, and they will grow into great young men and women who can compete with other nations," emphasized Prabowo.

The grand campaign, initiated by the National Mandate Party (PAN), was attended by Gibran Rakabuming Raka, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, former chief economic minister Hatta Rajasa, campaign team chairman Rosan Roeslani, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir, Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, actress and lawmaker Desy Ratnasari, and Muslim preacher Gus Miftah. Other celebrities and musicians, including Raffi Ahmad, also attended to liven up the final grand campaign in West Java.
