Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) announced on Wednesday that the Istora Senayan sports stadium in Central Jakarta will host the third presidential debate scheduled for Sunday evening.

The previous two debates were also held in the capital city, the first featuring all three presidential candidates and the second involving their respective running mates.

The upcoming event will reunite presidential candidates Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo on stage, where they will deliberate on issues spanning national security, defense, geopolitics, diplomacy, and international relations.

"The third debate is set to take place on January 7 at Istora Senayan," KPU Commissioner August Mellaz said during a news conference at the KPU office in Jakarta.

Consistent with previous debates, the KPU has appointed 11 panelists, including academics and experts, tasked with formulating questions for all the candidates.

Moderating the debate will be TV journalists Anisha Dasuki and Ariyo Ardi, representing the television network MNC Group responsible for the live broadcast of the third debate.

To ensure comprehensive coverage, the KPU has collaborated with major networks nationwide, providing logistical support and live broadcasting for all five scheduled debates until February 10.
