Jakarta. Survey institution Cyrus Network, in collaboration with the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), has declared the victory of presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 elections.

Cyrus has completed the quick count for the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections, with data received from 100 percent of 2,000 polling stations (TPS).

"The result is Prabowo leads with 58.25 percent. Followed by Anies Baswedan at 24.91 percent, and Ganjar Pranowo at 16.84 percent," said Cyrus Network CEO Eko Prasetyo Galan in Jakarta on Sunday.

Although the final results are still pending the official announcement from the KPU, Eko said the quick count can serve as an initial reference.

"Quick count is a statistical miracle; it is one of the tools in safeguarding democracy," he said.

Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto continues to dominate the official vote count conducted by the General Election Commission (KPU) for the 2024 presidential election, potentially securing an outright victory. As of Monday at 01:00 PM WIB, over 70 percent of the results from more than 820,000 polling stations have been tallied.

Prabowo, alongside running mate Gibran Rakabuming Raka, President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's eldest son, is in the lead over their two opponents. Prabowo currently holds a substantial lead with approximately 55.32 million votes or around 58 percent.

Presidential candidate Anies Baswedan and his running mate Muhaimin Iskandar have secured 24 percent of the votes, equivalent to 22 million votes, while Ganjar Pranowo and his VP candidate, Mohammad Mahfud MD, attained 17 percent or approximately 16 million votes.
