Soekarno-Hatta, Bali Airports Now Require Digital Arrival Cards for Foreigners
Jakarta. All foreign tourists visiting Indonesia via Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport must now make a digital entry declaration, a process designed to expedite the immigration process.
This online form, also known as All Indonesia, is also mandatory at the country’s main gateway Soekarno-Hatta airport. The same applies to Juanda Airport in East Java. Indonesian returning from an overseas trip must also submit their e-arrival card. This new policy has been in effect since September 1, according to the airport arm of the state-run tourism firm InJourney.
“Soekarno-Hatta, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, and Juanda are the airports that have the largest international traveler traffic in Indonesia,” InJourney Airports’ boss Mohammad R Pahlevi recently said, commenting on why the company started with those three.
Plans are underway to make the digital arrival card mandatory in every other international airport that the company manages. Pahlevi did not give a time frame on this expansion.
The digital platform aims to simplify tourist entry by having the traveler submit the immigration, customs, and quarantine information in one go. Tourists are expected to submit the form within three days before their flight to Indonesia.
Official statistics showed that Indonesia had recorded over 8.5 million international tourist arrivals in the first seven months of 2025, up by 10.04 percent year-on-year. Ngurah Rai airport saw 697,068 international arrivals in July alone, most of whom were Australians. The Soekarno-Hatta became the second-most popular airport for foreigners as it witnessed 290,369 international arrivals that same month.
Travelers can install the All Indonesia app on Google Play Store and AppStore. It is also accessible via allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id.
