Ye Concert in Jakarta to Deploy 2,000 Security Personnel
Jakarta. More than 2,000 security personnel from the Jakarta administration and the Jakarta Metropolitan Police will be deployed to secure Kanye West’s concert at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium on Saturday, organizers said.
Karen Tjahja, marketing and communications lead at promoter Raw Vision Collective, said in a statement on Friday that personnel would be stationed along the stadium’s inner ring road and inside the venue throughout the concert, titled Ye Live in Jakarta.
Organizers have also coordinated with other event organizers holding activities in the GBK Senayan complex on Saturday to manage traffic and minimize congestion, Karen said.
“We have met with the other organizers to ensure that each event runs smoothly, with the main priority being to prevent concertgoers from getting stuck in traffic for too long,” she said.

The concert will feature a 360-degree stage design known as the Dome Stage, which organizers say is intended to offer different viewing perspectives for audiences across the festival, CAT 4 and VIP sections.
“All audiences will have a different experience and perspective,” Karen said.
The concert is also expected to draw a large audience from outside Jakarta and overseas. Organizers said international concertgoers had purchased 20,500 tickets, with more than 6,100 buyers from Australia, followed by fans from Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries. Another 30,000 visitors are projected to travel to Jakarta from other parts of Indonesia. GBK Main Stadium has an official seating capacity of approximately 78,000 spectators.
West arrived in Jakarta on Friday with his wife, Bianca Censori, ahead of the concert.
