Jakarta. State-owned pawnbroker Pegadaian has launched the Tring! Digital Lounge at Mall Kota Kasablanka on Wednesday, marking a new phase in its digital transformation and efforts to broaden access to gold-based financial services.

The opening follows the rapid adoption of Pegadaian’s Tring! application, which has attracted around five million users in a relatively short period. The new facility serves as a modern, mall-based service hub that integrates digital platforms with in-person consultation, reinforcing the company’s push toward a more accessible and technology-driven financial ecosystem.

Pegadaian President Director Damar Latri Setiawan described the Tring! Digital Lounge as a prototype for the company’s future service model.

“This Digital Lounge represents financial inclusion, particularly in gold,” Damar said at the launch. “Since being inaugurated last year as one of Indonesia’s first bullion banks by President Prabowo Subianto, our performance has been strong. Today, our bullion bank manages approximately 33.7 tons of gold.”

Unlike conventional financial applications, Tring! is positioned as a dedicated platform for the gold ecosystem. Through a single application, users can save gold, place gold deposits, transfer ownership, and request physical gold minting.

“With Tring!, customers can save gold, open gold deposits, mint physical gold, or transfer gold holdings — all within one application,” Damar said.

To bridge digital and physical services, Pegadaian has also introduced gold ATMs at selected locations, enabling customers who save digitally to print physical gold ranging from one gram to 100 grams when needed.

“This facility makes gold transactions even more convenient and accessible for the public,” he added.

Marketing, Sales, and Product Development Director Selfie Dewivanti said the Tring! Digital Lounge at Kota Kasablanka is the first step in a broader rollout to major shopping malls across Indonesia.

“Our presence here is aimed at expanding public education about Tring!,” Selfie said. “This Digital Lounge acts as a mobile outlet focused on providing high-quality service for customers who want direct consultation on our gold products.”

Echoing that view, Network and Operations Director Eka Pebriansyah noted the strong public response to Pegadaian’s digital offerings.

“Through the Tring! application, Pegadaian addresses the needs of customers who want to buy or save gold easily and without complications,” he said.

Backed by solid financial performance — including net profit exceeding Rp 8 trillion ($474.3 million) and outstanding loan growth of between 30 and 50% last year — Pegadaian remains optimistic about sustaining its momentum. The company is targeting continued double-digit growth, with projected expansion of more than 15% in the coming year.
