Pegadaian Bima Supports Local Mosque with CSR Donation
Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. State-owned pawnshop PT Pegadaian continues to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility by supporting religious facilities in the local community.
PT Pegadaian’s Bima branch recently donated worship equipment to Al Ijtihad mosque, aiming to enhance comfort and accessibility for congregants carrying out daily prayers and religious activities.
The symbolic handover was conducted directly by representatives of Pegadaian Bima to mosque administrators and was warmly welcomed by the local community. The contribution is expected to improve the quality of worship, particularly for communal prayers and other religious gatherings.
The Head of Pegadaian’s Bima Branch said the initiative reflects the company’s broader mission to create meaningful social impact beyond its core financial services.
“Through this CSR program, we want to share happiness and support better worship facilities so they can be more comfortable and suitable for the community,” the branch head said.
The management of Al Ijtihad mosque expressed appreciation for the support, highlighting the importance of collaboration between corporations and local communities in fostering social well-being.
“We are grateful for Pegadaian’s assistance. We hope this partnership continues and brings lasting positive impact to our neighborhood,” a mosque representative said.
Pegadaian’s CSR initiatives are part of a sustained effort to contribute to community development and improve public welfare. The company has consistently implemented programs that address social needs, particularly in underserved areas.
Previously, Pegadaian, through its Ambalawi unit, distributed essential goods and daily necessities to those in need, including direct assistance to Panti Asuhan Nurul Mubin Ambalawi. The initiative demonstrated the company’s active role in supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening social solidarity at the grassroots level.
Through such programs, Pegadaian continues to demonstrate that its presence extends beyond financial services, playing an active role in building stronger, more resilient communities across Indonesia.
