BNIDirect Sees 50 Pct Growth in Active Corporate Users
Jakarta. BNIDirect, the digital platform for the bank’s corporate banking clients, recorded a massive growth in active users, according to a press release.
State-owned bank BNI reported that its digital transactions had jumped 47 percent y-o-y in 2022, a growth driven by BNIDirect. This also marks the bank’s largest growth in digital transaction value in the past five years. BNI said that the number of corporate and commercial clients who actively transact on BNIDirect rose 50 percent yoy. BNI corporate secretary director Okki Rushartomo said that more than 100,000 corporate and commercial clients have signed up and used BNIDirect.
“We will continue to improve BNIDirect, among others, by adding new features,” Okki was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
According to Okki, acquisition and activation for BNI current account customers will soon be available in a bid to spur the number of active users. BNI has also prepared a number of digital transaction solutions for its corporate and commercial clients.

This year, BNIDirect will focus on an “All New BNIDirect Platform” with a myriad of new features, BNIDirect KCLN (overseas branch), and API corporate service. It will also work on developing BNIDirect Lite, namely a BNIDirect specified for commercial customers with effortless and straightforward features.
Okki attributed BNIDirect’s growth to the countless innovations as well as BNI’s cash management. The said innovations include online account opening, multi-currency giro, API corporate disbursement solutions, and many more.
“BNI believes that digital transactions will continue to grow as the awareness to maximize the digitalization of national finances also increases rapidly,” Okki said.
“As the Indonesian economy, be it in macroeconomic, fiscal, monetary, or the overall financial sector, is in stable condition, BNI is confident that the business as a whole will grow positively in 2023," Okki added.
