BNI, RANS Entertainment Collab to Spur E. Java’s Economy
Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI and entertainment giant RANS teamed up to host an expo on March 10-12 in DBL Arena Surabaya to spur East Java’s economy.
BNI EXPO with RANS visitors could try out the F&B micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the Jajarans Festival, while also shopping for vehicles, lifestyle products, and even household supplies. There was even a travel fair. The three-day expo also sought to promote “local pride”. Other activities include the BNI Zone and RANS Universe. Visitors could also jam into music performances featuring Jamrud, Ndarboy, and Maliq & D'essentials.
According to BNI corporate secretary Okki Rushartomo, the bank is proactively supporting programs that can help spur national economic recovery. The expo followed President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s instruction to issue faster permits for concerts and sports events.
“To drive Indonesia’s economic growth via the creative industry, we are hosting BNI EXPO with RANS. This is part of our support to the creative industry as well as the MSMEs,” Okki was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
“We hope this event can attract domestic tourists and bring a positive impact to Indonesia’s economy,” Okki said.
BNI also showered the expo visitors with discounts and cashback.
