BNI Wins 'Digital Transformation Driver 2025' Award for Innovation Through wondr by BNI
Jakarta. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) has once again earned national recognition for its efforts to accelerate digital transformation. At the Anugerah Penggerak Nusantara (APN) 2025, the bank received the Digital Transformation Driver Award for its development of the wondr by BNI digital ecosystem. The event, hosted by iNews Media Group, took place at the MNC Convention Hall in Jakarta on November 21, 2025.
BNI was commended for strengthening Indonesia’s financial digitalization through wondr by BNI, a modern banking platform that integrates a wide range of financial services and transactions within a single digital channel.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the award serves as motivation for the company to continue elevating its digital service offerings.
“This award further motivates us to deliver innovations that not only simplify transactions but also contribute to national economic progress,” Okki said in a statement.
The APN 2025 awards program recognizes individuals and institutions contributing to national development through sustainable initiatives across multiple sectors. This year, iNews Media Group selected winners across 27 categories.
Rapid User Growth Underscores Digital Acceleration
The growth of wondr by BNI played a key role in the bank’s digital acceleration. The platform’s user base rose from 2.8 million in September 2024 to 10.5 million in September 2025, with transaction value reaching Rp 783 trillion ($47 billion) from 866 million transactions.
Okki stressed that digitalization remains the company’s core focus in expanding access to banking services.
“We believe digitalization is the key to delivering financial services that are more inclusive and accessible. Moving forward, BNI will strengthen cross-sector collaboration to support the national digital economy ecosystem,” he said.
BNI’s achievement at APN 2025 reinforces the institution’s position as an adaptive and progressive financial player in a rapidly evolving industry. It also reaffirms the bank’s commitment to delivering relevant, sustainable, and customer-centric digital services.
