Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI is helping the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) to send 25 of its best athletes to compete at the 2026 Indonesia Masters in Jakarta on Jan. 20-25.

They are up against top athletes from China, Japan, South Korea, France, Denmark, and many more. BNI wants to pave the way for athletes to compete at the global level. This event also reflects BNI's long-term commitment to support the sustainable development of the national badminton ecosystem, from coaching to achieving success on the international stage.

BNI has partnered with PBSI for over five years. During that time, the bank has contributed to supporting the development and regeneration of athletes across various age groups. This includes strengthening the national training program, which serves as the foundation for producing world-class athletes.

"Athlete development requires ongoing support from various parties. BNI's involvement in the 2026 Indonesia Masters demonstrates our commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian athletes capable of competing at the global level," BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said.
