What You Need to Know about All Indonesia App for Foreign Visitors
Jakarta. Indonesia has required all international travelers to complete their entry details through the All Indonesia application since Sept. 1.
Launched by the Directorate General of Immigration, the digital platform integrates immigration, customs, health, and quarantine forms into a single system. It eliminates the need for separate arrival cards, such as the electronic customs declaration (e-CD).
The All Indonesia app is expected to not only improve the passenger experience but also reinforce national security, health protection, and economic resilience.
The app allows passengers to complete these declarations in one integrated form, free of charge, either up to three days before departure from their home country or after landing in Indonesia. By digitizing the process, the system not only speeds up border checks but also strengthens public health safeguards by requiring health declarations to help detect potential infectious disease risks. Passengers traveling with animals or plants must also declare them through the app, supporting quarantine agencies in preventing pests and diseases.
“This app is a leap forward in delivering efficient public service. With the All Indonesia app, arrivals at airports and seaports will be faster, safer, and more inclusive, whether for individuals, groups, seniors, children, or people with disabilities,” Acting Immigration Director General Yuldi Yusman said in Jakarta on Monday.
Initial Rollout
The app use is mandatory at:
- Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Tangerang)
- Juanda International Airport (Surabaya)
- I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (Bali)
- Batam’s international seaports
Testing is also underway at other airports, airlines, international seaports, and border checkpoints.
How It Works
Travelers can fill out the arrival form for free within three days before their entry through the official website (allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id) or via the app available on Google Play and the App Store.
Benefits for Passengers
According to Yuldi, the app aims to simplify the entry declaration process while strengthening national safeguards. Key features include:
- Faster and more efficient processing with consolidated data
- User-friendly design for seniors, children, and passengers with disabilities
- Enhanced border security, health monitoring, and customs supervision
- Integration of customs processes, replacing the e-CD
- Stronger disease prevention and food security checks
“Indonesia wants to provide the best experience from the moment travelers arrive. The integration of the arrival card into this system is part of that commitment,” Yuldi said.
