National Vote Recap: Prabowo-Gibran Dominate in 16 Provinces of the 2024 Presidential Election

Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) has completed the nationwide vote count in 16 out of 38 provinces and one overseas electoral district for the 2024 Presidential Election.

Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Gibran Rakabuming Raka secured a substantial lead in all 16 provinces, amassing a staggering 38,521,561 votes.

The recapitulation took place at KPU's office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, from Saturday, March 9 to Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The opposing candidates, Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan trailed far behind. Ganjar and his vice president Mohammad Mahfud MD claimed the second spot with 15,338,906 votes, while Anies and his VP Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) garnered 13,657,552 votes.

The 16 provinces that have completed the national vote tally for the 2024 Presidential Election include DI Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Central Kalimantan, Lampung, Bali, Bangka Belitung Islands, West Kalimantan, South Sumatra, Central Java, Jakarta, Riau Islands, East Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Banten, and East Kalimantan.

Here's a detailed breakdown of the vote tally in the 16 provinces:
