Breaking: Prabowo Overhauls Cabinet in Six-Post Shake-Up

Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto carried out a cabinet reshuffle on Monday involving six officials, including key appointments within the presidential staff and government agencies.

The changes included ministerial, coordinating, and strategic communication posts as Prabowo continued to shape his administration.

  • Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq was sworn in as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs.
  • Labor union activist Jumhur Hidayat was appointed Environment Minister, replacing Hanif.
  • Muhammad Qodari, previously head of the Presidential Staff Office, was inaugurated as head of the Government Communication Agency, replacing Angga Raka Prabowo.
  • Former Army Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman was named head of the Presidential Staff Office, succeeding Qodari.
  • Hasan Nasbi, the former communications agency chief, was appointed Special Presidential Adviser for Communications.
  • Former migrant worker protection minister Abdul Karding was installed as head of the Quarantine Agency.

The inauguration ceremony of the six new officials at the State Palace in Jakarta was streamed live by BTV.
