Ye’s First Indonesia Show Teased at ‘Bully’ Listening Event in Jakarta
Jakarta. Kanye West, now known as Ye, is set to perform in Indonesia for the first time, organizers said, following an album listening event in Jakarta.
Rawvision Collective staged the Bully listening party, transforming Bengkel SCBD into a fully themed venue inspired by the album’s visuals. A wrestling-style setup, mirroring imagery associated with the project, served as the centerpiece.
The night’s highlight came when organizers confirmed that Ye would bring his show to Indonesia, marking what would be his debut performance in the country.
“Ye is officially set to perform in Indonesia for the first time,” Rawvision Collective said in a statement shared during the event.
West, one of the most influential figures in modern hip-hop, rose to prominence with his 2004 debut album The College Dropout and went on to redefine the genre with critically acclaimed releases such as My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus. Known for blending hip-hop with soul, electronic and experimental sounds, he has won multiple Grammy Awards and built a global following that extends beyond music into fashion and popular culture.
Despite the announcement, no official date or venue has been confirmed. A review of Ye’s publicly available tour schedule has yet to show a Jakarta stop, leaving details of the planned concert unclear.
Rawvision Collective has not disclosed further information on ticketing, promoters or timing, but said additional details would be announced in due course.
