Tasikmalaya. The Semesta Berpesta festival captivated thousands of music lovers at Wiriadinata Airfield in Tasikmalaya, West Java, on Saturday. Featuring a lineup of top bands and singers, the festival provided an unforgettable evening for the enthusiastic audience.

The event kicked off at 4:15 p.m. with vibrant performances from local bands Faith And Fate and Hi Fellas. These Tasikmalaya-based bands entertained the crowd until 7:00 p.m., with their melodic tunes resonating with the audience who sang and danced along.

As the clock struck at 7:15 p.m., the atmosphere turned romantic with the arrival of Indonesia's renowned singer, Ziva Magnolya. Her melodious voice invited the audience to join her in a chorus of love songs, creating an intimate and heartwarming ambiance.

The excitement peaked when the legendary band Armada took the stage. Known for their hits like "Apa Kabar Sayang," "Asal Kau Bahagia," "Pergi Pagi Pulang Pagi," and "Kuingin Setia," Rizal Armada and his bandmates delivered a powerful performance that had the crowd dancing and singing along. The familiar tunes sparked waves of nostalgia, turning the concert into a memorable sing-along party.

B-Universe CEO Rio Abduracman highlighted the festival's inclusive nature, noting that it offered more than just musical entertainment. "Semesta Berpesta is not just a music event; it includes fashion shows, entertainment, and exhibitions from local SMEs," he said. The festival served as a platform for various community groups to come together and celebrate.

Taufik Agus Hidayat, Commander of Lanud Wiriadinata, emphasized the collaborative effort of the military and the police in organizing the event. He hoped that the festival would boost local revenue by attracting out-of-town visitors. "This event is a collaboration between Lanud Wiriadinata and BTV, coinciding with the 73rd anniversary of Air Operations Command I," he added.

Following its success in Tasikmalaya, the Semesta Berpesta festival is set to tour 11 other cities across Indonesia, promising to bring the same joy and unity to music enthusiasts nationwide.
