The Palace Jeweler Partners with Pendopo at 2023 Buleleng Festival
Jakarta. The Palace Jeweler recently teamed up with Pendopo to host a fashion show at the 2023 Buleleng Festival in Bali.
The Palace Jeweler is a brand under the jewelry giant Central Mega Kencana. Pendopo is part of the retailer Kawan Lama Group and focuses on developing Indonesia’s culture and local products. It has partnered with over 200 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the archipelago.
Models dressed in traditional fabric from Pendopo and The Palace Jeweler’s jewelry moved down the catwalk at the recent 2023 Buleleng Festival.
“The Palace Jeweler is ‘the national jeweler’ who seeks to become a jewelry brand that actively promotes Indonesian culture. We truly admire Pendopo's commitment to their community empowerment programs that they run every year that focus on a wide range of aspects,” Chikita Rosemarie, the PR manager for Central Mega Kencana, was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
“Likewise, The Palace Jeweler always tries to get closer to the people by setting up outlets across the archipelago. So Indonesians are more aware of high-quality fine jewelry that truly portrays Indonesian jewelry. … Having these outlets across Indonesia also helps us take part in empowering the local creative workers,” Chikita said.
Tasya Widya Krisnadi, the director for Pendopo, also commented on the partnership.
“We try to preserve Indonesian culture by empowering the people, particularly the producers of the local cultural products. Last year, we did something similar with the Sikka ikat weavers in Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. We decided to do the same in Buleleng, Bali, which has its charms and great natural resources. It also boasts huge potential for the fashion industry,” Tasya said.
The Palace Jeweler embraces the slogan “Therlengkap, Therjangkau, Therjamin” (‘Most Complete, Affordable, Guaranteed). The brand offers all sorts of jewelry collections, starting from those made from diamonds, and gold to precious stones like rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. It is also affordable. For instance, the price of the Moela diamond jewelry collection starts from Rp 888,000. The Palace Jeweler only provides jewelry with the ideal gold carat, namely 18 carats (around $56) with a level of 75.5 percent and has SNI 8080:2020 certification. The Palace Jeweler today has 56 outlets in Indonesia.
