Telkomsel Partners with WanderJoy for Seamless Regional Travel Experience
Tokyo. Indonesia’s largest mobile operator Telkomsel has officially joined WanderJoy, a cross-border digital travel initiative led by the Travel Alliance, which includes major regional telecom players such as Singtel, AIS, Globe, HKT, Optus, Taiwan Mobile, and KDDI.
Derrick Heng, Telkomsel’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in an interview on Tuesday that joining WanderJoy reinforces Telkomsel’s position as a leading digital telecommunications company in both Indonesia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
“WanderJoy not only offers international connectivity but also enables more personalized, relevant, and value-added travel experiences for our customers,” Derrick said.
The collaboration allows Telkomsel subscribers to access exclusive deals, offers, and rewards across all Travel Alliance member countries through a unified platform at wanderjoy.com. The service is also integrated into the MyTelkomsel app, which serves as the company’s primary digital service hub in Indonesia.
“This partnership opens opportunities for cross-industry collaboration and addresses challenges such as fragmented reward systems and limited access to local offers,” Derrick added.
He noted that Telkomsel’s participation reflects its commitment to inclusive, borderless digital innovation inspired by collaboration.
“We believe collaboration is key to creating simpler, more connected, and personalized digital travel experiences,” he said.
Through WanderJoy, Telkomsel aims to strengthen its role as a digital lifestyle enabler, not only providing connectivity but also delivering tangible value to customers’ journeys around the world, he added.
