From Running to Digital Lifestyle, Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 Brings Integrated Sportainment Experience
Jakarta. More than 10,000 runners packed the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex in Jakarta during Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 on May 17, bringing together sports, technology, and lifestyle in an event designed to stay relevant to people’s daily lives.
Carrying the theme “The RACEvolution,” Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 was not only an international-standard running event, but also a platform for the public to experience how technology can support a more active, healthy, and connected lifestyle.
Telkomsel President Director Nugroho said the event reflected the company’s effort to connect more closely with customers through meaningful experiences.
“Telkomsel Digiland Run is a platform for us to connect more closely with customers and deliver an experience that is not only about running, but also about togetherness, healthy living, and how technology can support more personal and relevant experiences in daily life. We also appreciate all parties who supported the event, including the Jakarta provincial administration, partners, sponsors, and of course all participants,” Nugroho said.
As a lifestyle companion for customers, MyTelkomsel accompanied runners through its Lari feature, which was designed to support active and healthy lifestyles. Supported by Telkomsel’s 5G network, the feature enabled participants to monitor activity progress more personally, from setting targets and tracking history to accessing customer rewards.
Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 featured four main experience pillars: the running competition, Smart MSME Market, Tech & Innovation Experience, and Digiland Music & Entertainment. Visitors enjoyed performances by several Indonesian musicians, including .Feast, Hindia, Feel Koplo, Moluccan Soul, DJ Una, and Aldi Taher.
At the Smart MSME Market area, local small and medium enterprises gained opportunities to expand their reach through QRIS-based digital transactions. The cashless approach provided a more practical experience while also increasing business visibility for merchants.
On the technology side, Telkomsel introduced various digital solutions, ranging from Video Analytics-based CCTV systems to QRIS Soundbox technology. Visitors were also able to experience 5G- and AI-based activations, including an AI photobooth and robotic showcase.
Telkomsel also presented an IndiHome booth, allowing visitors to directly experience its integrated digital service ecosystem, from connectivity to digital entertainment solutions tailored to everyday needs.
Beyond entertainment and sports, the event also generated environmental impact through Telkom Group and Telkomsel’s GoZero% and Telkomsel Jaga Bumi carbon offset program. Through the initiative, Digiland Run 2026 participants automatically contributed one tree seedling for every 5 kilometers completed.
Nugroho said Digiland Run was designed to create an ecosystem that combines sports, entertainment, and digital innovation.
“Through Digiland Run, we want to create an ecosystem that combines sports, entertainment, and digital innovation, so people not only run to stay healthy and achieve personal milestones, but also continue to grow and create positive impact for others. This reflects our commitment to continue serving wholeheartedly,” he said.
Telkomsel’s network reliability ensured that all activities ran smoothly, enabling participants to stay connected and share moments in real time. Ahead of Telkomsel’s 31st anniversary on May 26, 2026, Digiland Run reflected the company’s commitment to delivering relevant and meaningful experiences for the public.
Telkomsel Digiland Run 2026 was not merely about crossing the start and finish lines, but about building more meaningful connections together as part of Telkomsel’s commitment to “Melayani Sepenuh Hati.”
