Sending Eid Bonus Made Easier: BNI Launches Group Transfer on Wondr App
Jakarta. Sending Eid holiday bonuses, or Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR), to family members is becoming more convenient with a new feature on Bank Negara Indonesia’s (BNI) digital banking application, Wondr.
The bank has introduced a group transfer function that allows users to send funds to up to five recipients simultaneously, streamlining a long-standing tradition of sharing blessings during Eid al-Fitr.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the innovation reflects the bank’s understanding of customers’ needs, particularly during key festive periods when financial transactions tend to increase.
“BNI recognizes that the tradition of sharing Eid bonuses has become deeply embedded in Indonesian society. Customers expect financial services that are fast, practical, and secure, especially during special moments such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,” Okki said in a statement.
The feature is designed with ease of use in mind. Customers can access the Transfer menu within the Wondr app, select the “New Group” option, and choose up to five recipients. Users can then input the transfer amount for each recipient and proceed to complete the transaction.
Okki added that the initiative aims to enhance customer convenience by offering a more efficient and seamless transaction experience aligned with modern digital banking needs.
“Through this feature, BNI hopes the tradition of sharing bonuses with family and relatives can be carried out more easily and efficiently, while also providing a comfortable digital transaction experience for customers,” he said.
