Jakarta. State construction firm PTPP reported that it had inked a contract for the design and construction of the Attorney General's Office building for this year.

PTPP will work on the office building for the deputy attorney generals for general crimes (Jampidum), state affairs (Jamdatun), supervision (Jamwas) and the asset recovery agency (BPA). The contract is worth Rp 934.36 billion (including the value-added tax) or worth around $55.7 million and with a 360-calendar day implementation period. This project further strengthens PTPP's portfolio in the institutional building segment and reflects the government's confidence in PTPP's capabilities in handling strategic projects.

The building's construction is designed to support the institutional transformation of the Attorney General's Office by providing modern, integrated, and representative work facilities. The presence of this new infrastructure is expected to improve the effectiveness of inter-sectoral coordination, accelerate work processes, and encourage improvements in the quality of public services.

From a business perspective, this project demonstrates PTPP's consistency in managing government projects with measurable planning and stable revenue prospects. This aligns with the company's strategy to maintain sustainable performance amidst the dynamics of the national construction industry.

PTPP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo stated that this project demonstrated the company's commitment to delivering the best quality execution in every project it undertakes.

"For PTPP, this project focuses not only on completing the physical construction, but also on ensuring that the final result optimally supports the operational needs of users. We are committed to maintaining timeliness, quality, and accountability in every stage of the work," he said.

This also motivates PTPP to continue contributing to the development of the country's infrastructure, particularly in projects that have a direct impact on improving public services, according to Joko.
