PNM Distributes Qurban Sacrificial Animals in Remote Areas
Jakarta. Financing firm Permodalan Nasional Madani PNM or distributed its sacrificial animal for Eid al-Adha to remote areas in Aceh, Palembang, Lampung, Garut, Serang, Banjarmasin, Purwokerto, Solo, Mataram, and Makassar.
According to PNM president director Arief Mulyadi, this year's distribution focused on remote areas, especially those with high stunting rates.
"The momentum of this year's sacrifice, apart from being a form of worship on Eid al-Adha, is also a form of PNM's commitment to supporting the zero stunting program in Indonesia," he said.
The qurban distribution is also PNM's way of expressing gratitude for having served the country for 25 years, especially in empowering Indonesia's ultra micro enterprises. This also makes a great opportunity for PNM to give back in remote areas that also run the company's flagship Membina Ekonomi Keluarga Sejahtera (Mekaar) initiative. PNM distributed the sacrificial animals to the smaller mosques in the said regions.
Arief thanked the PNM Mekaar customers who have entrusted PNM to provide assistance and empowerment to women-owned ultra-micro businesses. As well as the account officers who have worked hard to provide assistance in these areas.
"I hope that the sacrifices from PNM can continue to foster the hopes of ultra-micro fighters, both customers and account officer friends who sacrifice every day through incredibly difficult paths," he said.
