Jakarta. Hundreds of senior citizens living in North Cipete, South Jakarta, got their health conditions checked for free on Tuesday.

éL Hotel, in partnership with Intibios, established a free two-day health checkup site at the Taman Sawo RPTRA child-friendly public space in North Cipete on January 15-16. This is part of éL Hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

“Praise be to God. As part of our 11th anniversary celebrations, we are offering free health checkups for the people in North Cipete for two days. There are 50 people in each session, so a total of 100 people will get their health checked for free,” Dhea Alisda, the corporate marketing communication at éL Hotel, said on Tuesday.

“Everything is free here. We, éL Hotel Group, want to spread happiness on our precious 11th anniversary. We hope that the people can stay healthy after the check-ups,” Dhea said.

Octavia, the branch manager at Intibios, welcomed the partnership with éL Hotel Group.

“Intibios is pleased to be able to take part in éL Hotel Group’s free health checks at North Cipete. There are blood pressure tests available. Hopefully, éL Hotel Group can continue to thrive and grow,” Octavia said.

Supriyanto, the village head at North Cipete, praised the free health check program.

“The elders were able to get their blood sugar, gout, and cholesterol checked. The event is also collaborating with the local health facility. So the results can be used for a follow-up by the North Cipete clinic,” Supriyanto said.

Madinah, an elderly local resident, also commented on the program.

“I’m really grateful. At my age, sometimes it is hard to take long walks, so thankfully, this [free health check] program is close to my home,” Madinah said.
