BSI Eid Homecoming Program Participants Up 122%

Jakarta. Bank Syariah Indonesia or BSI's Eid-homecoming program "Mudik Aman Berbagi Harapan"  is back again with even bigger enthusiasm.

This year, BSI is sending 2,261 travelers from Jakarta to several regions across the country, including Sumatra, Cirebon, Majalengka, Purwokerto, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Magelang, Nganjuk, Madiun, Blitar, and Surabaya.

BSI prepared at least 44 buses and trains for 385 people with disabilities, as well as 1,876 travelers. These people included small business owners and BSI employees. The number of passengers also marked a 122% year-on-year increase. Last year, the program amassed only 1,019 travelers.

BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo stated that the Mudik Aman Berbagi Harapan program embodies the company's social mission as part of its commitment to financial, social, and spiritual friendship.

"This is also part of our efforts to serve wholeheartedly with Danantara," he said, referring to the sovereign fund.

The BSI Mudik Bersama program is part of the company's efforts to support the smooth flow of homecoming travelers while providing safe, comfortable, and free travel for people who want to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometowns.

Aside from the free ride, BSI prioritizes the comfort of people with disabilities by providing special, disability-friendly buses equipped with two wheelchair-friendly cars, one bus, and train services. The bank also provides various facilities for travelers, including meal packages, travel supplies, and health services.

Before departure, participants undergo a registration process and undergo a brief health check to ensure they are in good health during the trip and also ensure the safety of the buses, which are in collaboration with Aerotrans to ensure comfort during the journey. BSI has deployed people to assist the travelers in each bus.

BSI has also set up 8 homecoming posts are available. These posts are located in Pulo Gebang Terminal, Pasar Senen Station, Gambir Station, BSI Bakauheni Mosque, BSI Cipali Rest Area Mosque, BSI Cipularang Rest Area Mosque, Merak Port, and Ketapang Port. Travelers can access these services from March 16-22.

Customers can access BSI services at all time via the BYOND superapp. There are also other channels available, including BSI Call 14040, more than 6,000 ATMs and CRM units, as well as 126,000 BSI agents. The bank has also set up a payment network through BSI QRIS and EDC. Limited operational services are available at 162 outlets from March 18-24, 2026, and the availability of Rp 45 trillion in Eid cash at branch offices and ATMs.
