BNI Showcases MSME Synergy and Digital Innovation at Wondr JRF Expo
Jakarta. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) collaborated with its subsidiaries to showcase its fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Wondr JRF Expo 2025. The initiative reflects BNI’s commitment and ecosystem-wide efforts to strengthen MSMEs as key drivers of Indonesia’s economy and vital components of the nation’s creative value chain.
BNI’s digital-focused subsidiary, Hibank Indonesia, featured three standout culinary MSMEs -- Hi-Soto Kudus, Hi-Siomay, and Hi-Coffee -- bringing authentic Indonesian flavors to an international audience. Their presence at the global-scale event underscores the growing appeal of local culinary brands in the modern lifestyle economy.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that this collaboration is part of BNI’s #LangkahBersama (Step Together) initiative to foster local economic growth through an integrated ecosystem linking banking, MSMEs, and lifestyle industries.
“The participation of BNI’s subsidiaries and fostered MSMEs reflects our #LangkahBersama spirit -- promoting local economic growth through a seamlessly connected ecosystem of banking, entrepreneurship, and modern living,” Okki said in a statement.
As a subsidiary focused on digital financing for small businesses, Hibank plays a pivotal role in expanding financial access, building business capacity, and enabling MSMEs to reach national and international platforms such as the Wondr JRF Expo.
BNI also featured a curated selection of premium lifestyle and culinary merchants, including Oma Elly, Thai Sajja, London Layers, and Old Chang Kee, offering visitors a diverse and elevated experience while reinforcing BNI’s support for Indonesia’s creative economy.
Adding to the event’s vibrancy, BNI Life participated by offering tailored protection and investment products designed for urban consumers with active lifestyles. Through on-site consultations, BNI Life provided financial literacy and future protection education to visitors, emphasizing the importance of long-term financial planning.
In total, BNI’s fostered MSMEs and subsidiaries joined 138 merchants and over 100 global brands at the Wondr JRF Expo 2025. This diversity not only enhanced the event’s appeal but also solidified Wondr JRF’s position as a hub of collaboration between sports, the creative economy, and urban lifestyles.
As a main sponsor, BNI also introduced an integrated digital payment system using BNI EDC and QRIS across the venue -- reinforcing its commitment to financial inclusion and delivering fast, secure, and modern transaction experiences throughout the expo.
“Through Wondr JRF 2025, BNI is not just participating as a financial institution but as a key enabler of an ecosystem that connects MSMEs, the creative industry, and healthy lifestyles,” Okki concluded. “This synergy is expected to generate a positive impact on national economic growth.”
With this initiative, BNI reaffirms its position as a bank fostering a sustainable business ecosystem -- one that advances financial literacy and inclusion while empowering MSMEs as the backbone of Indonesia’s digital-era economy.
