BNI Secures Dual International Honors for Employee Development Excellence
Jakarta. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) has once again received international recognition for its consistent investment in human capital development through BNI Corporate University, securing two prestigious global awards that underscore the strength of its learning strategy and employee capability-building efforts.
The first award was presented at the International Customer Experience Awards (ICXA) 2025, held at Park Plaza London Riverbank in the United Kingdom. At the event, BNI Corporate University was named Gold Award Winner in the Best Learning and Development category for organizations with more than 5,000 employees.
BNI Director of Human Capital and Compliance Munadi Herlambang said the recognition reflects the success of the bank’s strategic transformation in developing workforce capabilities.
“BNI places learning as an integral part of business growth, positioning employees at the center of development and leaders as coaches in the learning process,” Munadi said in a statement.
The ICXA is an international platform that recognizes organizations demonstrating best practices in customer experience management, including learning and development strategies that directly enhance productivity and performance.
Judges highlighted BNI’s implementation of a Personalized Learning Journey, which aligns learning initiatives with organizational needs and performance improvement. The approach is built on three core pillars — Run the Bank, Change the Bank, and Transform the Bank — covering operational excellence, innovation, and leadership development.
BNI Corporate University was also recognized for fostering a culture of continuous learning through a range of digital initiatives, including microlearning programs, its BNU CorpU TV YouTube channel, webinars, and an annual Learning Festival. These initiatives have reached more than 44,000 BNI employees across Indonesia and overseas.
Earlier, BNI Corporate University also won Gold in the Branding and Durability category at The 2025 Global Corporate University Awards in Paris, outperforming peers such as Choice University from the United States and The Oberoi Group from India.
The judging panel noted BNI’s success in building a strong and cohesive learning identity aligned with corporate strategy through its “Learn, Grow, Lead” slogan, supported by consistent use of internal and external communication channels.
“This recognition reinforces our belief that structured and adaptive human capital development is a key foundation of BNI’s competitiveness amid industry dynamics and digital transformation,” Munadi said.
The achievement underscores BNI’s position as a national financial institution that not only prioritizes business performance, but also makes sustained investments in talent development to support long-term growth and global competitiveness.
