BNI Named Most Trusted Company at 2025 CGPI Awards
Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI recently won an ward for being the most trusted company at the 2025 Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) Awards.
The awarding ceremony coincided with the International Anti-Corruption Day. The award was organized by SWA Magazine in partnership with Indonesia Independen Cipta Governansi.
At this year's CGPI, BNI received the title of Most Trusted Company, reflecting the bank's ability to implement modern and sustainable governance practices amidst the dynamics of the banking industry. BNI's Director of Human Capital & Compliance Munadi Herlambang said that the company remained fully committed to good corporate governance (GCG) principles.
"We thank the IICG and SWA Media Group for the title of Most Trusted Companies. This achievement demonstrates that BNI's governance transformation efforts have received positive recognition and motivates us to continue strengthening GCG implementation going forward," BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said.
The IICG assessed that BNI's transformation has successfully strengthened the foundation of corporate governance through the development of digital business ecosystem solutions, increased global competitiveness, and strengthened overall risk and operational management. These efforts are an integral part of the company's strategy to maintain sustainable performance.
BNI continues to update its technology platforms, improve business process efficiency, and expand its service offerings across the retail, commercial, wholesale, and global banking segments. This transformation is aimed at establishing BNI as a banking institution with internationally competitive service and governance standards.
"BNI is now transforming not only to pursue growth, but also to ensure sustainability, efficiency, and an improved customer experience," Okki said.
The company believes that strong and consistent GCG implementation is key to maintaining stakeholder trust while ensuring healthy long-term growth. BNI aims to cement its position as one of the banks with the best governance in Indonesia. The bank plans to remain committed to improving GCG standards in line with industry demands and public expectations.
