BNI Named Informative Public Agency for Third Consecutive Year
Jakarta. State lender PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has once again been awarded the title of Informative Public Agency of the Year 2025 by the Central Information Commission (KIP). This award affirms BNI's consistency in implementing the principles of transparency and accountability in public information as part of its good corporate governance practices.
The award was presented to BNI by KIP Commissioner Samrotunnajah Ismail at the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Awards held in Jakarta on Monday, Dec. 15. This event was coupled with the launch of the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Index (IKIP) as a national instrument to measure the implementation of information disclosure in Indonesia.
“This award is a form of recognition for BNI's commitment to ensuring that the public's right to public information is consistently fulfilled,” said BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo in a written statement.
This achievement also confirms BNI as an Informative Public Agency for three consecutive years since 2023. The title of Informative Public Agency is the highest qualification in the public information disclosure assessment system conducted by KIP, which reflects the optimal level of compliance of public agencies with their obligations to provide and serve information to the public.
The awarding of this title is the result of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Disclosure conducted by KIP RI from August to November 2025. The assessment was carried out comprehensively through a number of indicators, including the availability of information, the quality of public information services, and the commitment of public agency leaders in supporting information disclosure.
Through this rating, BNI continues to strengthen its public information services to be transparent, accountable, and oriented towards the interests of the community.
“We will continue to improve the quality of public information management and services so that they are more accessible, accurate, and relevant to all stakeholders,” Okki emphasized.
Going forward, BNI is committed to making information disclosure the foundation for strengthening public trust while supporting the creation of transparent and sustainable governance of state-owned enterprises.
