BNI Cheers on Indonesian Athletes at 2023 All England
Jakarta. State-owned bank BNI is cheering on the Indonesian badminton players competing at the prestigious 2023 All England.
Top players Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will play in the badminton tournament. Indonesia also sends Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana and Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, among others. Indonesia last year claimed the men’s double titles, and the badminton powerhouse now has to defend the trophy, but also win gold medals in other categories, according to BNI corporate secretary Okki Rushartomo.
“We invite all Indonesians to give support for our badminton players at 2023 All England. Let us encourage our athletes to #LompatLebihTinggi (‘jump higher’) in making achievements on the global stage,” Okki was quoted as saying in a recent press release.
“BNI hopes that the Indonesian badminton athletes can give their best at 2023 All England, and demonstrate great tenacity and dedication,” Okki said.
BNI has collaborated with the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) since 2021. Under the partnership, the bank will support badminton development in the country until 2024. BNI’s sponsorship also aligns with the vision to make Indonesia proud at global championships. This also aligns with BNI’s goal to become the leading national bank with global standards.
BNI has launched a myriad of initiatives to bolster Indonesia’s badminton, ranging from support for young athletes' training and coaching, to local tournaments, as well as support for outstanding players.
