Jakarta. Bank Shinhan Indonesia recently launched its 2026 corporate social responsibility (CSR) program at SD Bhakti Luhur.

Attending the event were Bank Shinhan Indonesia CEO Koo Kyung Hoe, ASEAN representative Lee Young Jick, Shinhan Bank scholarship recipients, teachers, and students of SD Bhakti Luhur.

At the event, scholarship recipients also shared their experiences. They also motivated the students to pursue their dreams.

Bank Shinhan Indonesia also held plogging activities at the school area in a bid to promote environmental sustainability. The bank encouraged students to take care of the surrounding environment. Students also received goodie bags containing school supplies such as notebooks, drawing books, drawing tools, and stationery.

The bank donated sports equipment, computers, electric fans, and various other educational support facilities to help create a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.

The CSR program also included renovations to SD Bhakti Luhur.

The renovation project includes repairing the roofs of three classrooms and repainting the school building. Through this initiative, Bank Shinhan Indonesia aims to provide a safer, more comfortable, and supportive learning environment for Indonesia’s younger generation.

Bank Shinhan Indonesia believes that education is a fundamental foundation for the future of young generations. Through its CSR 2026 program, the bank hopes to make a meaningful contribution to education and help create a better learning environment for students.
